There’s just no time to rest, and I mean really rest – our brains are still active even when we sleep.
What happens with all of this pressure? ANXIETY, ANGER, PANIC ATTACKS, EATING DISORDERS, POOR BEHAVIOUR, INSOMNIA, POOR CONCENTRATION, INTROVERSY, LOW SELF ESTEEM, DRUGS, SELF HARM, EVEN SUICIDE.
Children don’t know how to recognise stress or how to cope with and process it. We need a culture of education to teach kids the skills to focus, identify, express and process their thoughts, avoid distraction and judge what to pay attention to.
By practicing awareness of the breath they can safely release emotions and create a sense of calm regardless of the circumstance, enabling them to make level headed reactions to any situation. This tool empowers kids, giving them an inbuilt coping mechanism to manage STRESS and LIFE.
